Flight Info You will be responsible to get down to Cabo. We suggest that you book your flight as early as possible to ensure a good price. Below are some suggestions on how to find the lowest price out there. Please book your ticket to arrive in Cabo on July 20 and to depart Cabo on July 25. You will have to email us your flight details as soon as you get them. We will then arrange a shuttle to and from the airport. Okay, here are some suggestions for flights.
Things to consider from each airline: -Is there a board bag fee? -Luggage policies? -Online booking fees?
Flight Suggestions: 1. Travel Agent-It doesn't hurt to ask your local travel agent to book your flight. They might have deals that aren't offered online.
2. Volaris - Volaris a company that most San Diegans may consider. They have a shuttle that will pick you up from the San Diego train station and take you to Tijuana airport. The shuttle costs $30 roundtrip. Because Volaris flies out of Tijuana, you may find that their prices are significantly cheaper! Volaris will have their fares up for our dates by the first week of April. The prices will range from $260 to $360 roundtrip. Another fee to consider if the Tourist Card fee. As of today, the price is att $24. So when you get your flight, consider the $24 and $30 roundtrip shuttle for the total price. Believe it or not, it still may be cheaper than flying from the US. But please search the net! Also, please note their fares on the site will show up in Mexican Pesos! http://www.volaris.com.mx/
3. Kayak.com - This is a great place to start. It is a search engine for flights. Airfares will show up with corresonding airlines. Please keep in mind that some posted airfares do not include taxes/fees. http://www.kayak.com
4. Other airlines - You can use Kayak.com to reference to other airlines out there that fly to Cabo. Try going straight to those company websites and get a price from there. They often have web specials.
We invite all wave riders! Skim boarders love this place. Surfers need to drive down the rode a bit to get to the better surfing waves, but it's all here! The crew from Florida always represent. Plus, at Cabo Freak Fest we always have the entertainment on lock down. Bands and DJ's will be partying, riding and rockin' with you the whole week! Longway, Barikuda and DJ Galvin represented properly. As of today, we've confirmed Kuda 100%. And for those of you that know him, we'll def get the party started!
Crowds? Yeah, we're 50 to 120 deep but if you want to get waves, you have to earn them. How? Just wake up early and get on it while everyone else is nursing their hangovers. Crowds? They are only there when you want 'em. Cabo Freak Fest is what you make it. Make it happen in '08!
Here's a couple vids for now. We'll be searching our archives of more madness of Cabo Freak Fest past.
Here's the intro to the 2006 Cabo Freak Fest DVD. Big Island boy, Ryan McGuckin, put this together and he nailed the essence of CFF in the video. If you want one email us for details.
